EdPress Award: This edition of SEDL Letter, Putting Reading First, won first place in the nationwide EdPress 2003 Distinguished Achievement Award competition for "One-Theme Issue" in adult publications. The edition won over such estimable competitors as the National Endowment of the Humanities. The magazine was judged on content, look, design, appropriateness of audience.
