| Nathan, a former Russian teacher at Bowie and LBJ High Schools and Bailey Middle School in Austin, was selected as Texas Russian Teacher of the Year in 1994. He was also Teacher of the Year at Bailey Middle School in 1998. His current position is Assistant Professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos. Nathan is the current President of the Texas Foreign Language Association (TFLA). He and Mary Diehl have worked as a team to provide over twenty TEKS for LOTE training workshops to date. | |
