Past Work
Since the 1970s, SEDL has been an active contributor to the field of knowledge use, helping refine and describe key concepts and helping apply those concepts through initiatives specifically geared to bridge the gap between research and practice. Many of our publications and professional development sessions have focused on teaching educators what the research says and how they can use it to improve student learning. Past work of the National Center for the Dissemination of Disability Research focused on building researchers’ understanding of how consumers find and use information and modeling strategies that researchers can use to reach different consumer audiences.
