About the SLC Awards Database

The SLC awards database lists information about districts and schools that have been awarded SLC funds. Each record contains demographic information, information from the grant application, and a list of the structures and strategies each school is implementing.

In 2000, the Department of Education awarded SEDL a contract to construct an online database to host the Smaller Learning Communities (SLC) awards database. SEDL hosted the database from 2000 through September, 2006. In October, 2006, the database was transferred to a new hosting contractor.
